Mauricio holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nutrition and is a licensed nutritionist, dietitian, and ServSafe‑certified professional. Having competed as a collegiate swimmer and completed an Ironman, Mauricio’s experience as a lifelong athlete brings a deep personal understanding of sports performance to his work. His expertise in sports nutrition is complemented by a strong research background, including studies in ALS, neurobiology, and metabolic diseases, with a focus on the specialized nutritional needs of both athletes and patients.

Throughout his career, Mauricio has developed comprehensive wellness programs ranging from weight‑management strategies to advanced fueling protocols for athletes, as well as tailored nutrition support for individuals with ALS. His clinical experience at the Miami Veterans Hospital strengthened his foundation in cardiovascular health, and he continues to guide clients toward their wellness goals and reach their ultimate well-being.
